Jacqueline is committed to offering yoga therapy to help her clients thrive during every phase of life, regardless of their unique circumstances. As a yoga practitioner and as a yoga therapist, she has witnessed the significant positive impact that yoga can have on individual and collective well-being. Jacqueline creates a respectful, safe, and supportive environment where participants can truly come as they are. She is skilled at making the physical and philosophical teachings of yoga concrete and accessible. Her sessions are choice-based, enabling participants to learn to meet their own unique needs well—a skill that, in time, expands off the yoga mat and into daily living.
A certified yoga instructor since 2010, Jacqueline has been grateful to guide hundreds of students as they build awareness and agency on their yoga mats, and as they cultivate the same qualities in their daily lives. She has completed her 1000-hour Yoga Therapy Certification in SomaYoga, a therapeutic blend of somatics and yoga that cultivates pain-free movement, healthy functioning, and overall ease in the body and mind. She is a Faculty Mentor at Yoga North International SomaYoga Institute.
Jacqueline has specialized in yoga for mental health since 2012. During her years as a yoga instructor at a national eating disorder clinic, and her classes in addiction recovery treatment, she has taught at all levels of care, from residential treatment to day programs to specialized outpatient groups.
Jacqueline is certified as C-IAYT (Certified Yoga Therapist) with the International Association of Yoga Therapists and E-RYT (Experienced Yoga Instructor) and YACEP (Continuing Education Provider) with Yoga Alliance.
