Yoga Therapy Details:
Yoga for Resilience is welcoming and accessible to everyone, regardless of ability, body type, gender, sexuality, age, race, religion, or cultural background. No prior yoga experience is expected. All individual and group sessions provide an informed and supportive experience for participants who have experienced trauma.
Individual Yoga Therapy
Yoga therapy sessions typically take place weekly or every-other week, and meeting times range from 45 to 75 minutes, depending on client availability and preference.
Many individual yoga therapy clients are confident to move forward on their own after 3-5 sessions, using the insights and skills they have developed to manage their well-being. For some, it can be helpful to schedule an occasional “tune-up” session as needed. For clients with more complex concerns, or who prefer the structure of ongoing meetings, yoga therapy can provide excellent long-term support.
Semi-Private Yoga Therapy
Semi-private yoga sessions are a flexible way to gather small groups of 2-10 people for a single session or for ongoing yoga therapy. Groups are created by the participants. Each group can request specific themes, goals, or practices.
Cost
The cost for individual yoga therapy sessions is $100 for a single session, $275 for a three-session package, or $425 for a five-session package. The cost for semi-private yoga therapy is $50 per person per session. A pay-what-you-can option is available if cost is a barrier. To use the pay-what-you-can option, please check the box on the intake form below. You will have an opportunity before your first session to choose any amount that works for you.
How to Register:
To register for individual or semi-private yoga therapy, please complete all fields of the intake form and sign the waiver electronically. (Please note: to join a semi-private group, each participant must complete the intake and waiver forms.) After submitting the forms, you will receive a confirmation email with next steps. Your information is used only for the purpose of our work together and is never shared.
For individual sessions only, there is a free 30-minute intake appointment prior to the first yoga therapy session. This provides an opportunity to decide if yoga therapy is a good fit before participating.
